Hello,
I've recently upgraded my Hackintosh and in the process I purchased a GeForce 8800GT 1GB card. Not that I need 1GB of video RAM, but at 159$-30$ mail-in, that was the cheapest 8800GT that I could find locally.
I've installed from Kalyway 10.5.2, and I used nVinject 0.2.0 installer and I get full dual-monitor support at 1920x1200, QC/CI on both, but the reported video memory is 256MB. Considering I got full support with minimal effort, I shouldn't complain, but I was wondering if anyone has managed to get the system to recognize all the RAM on a 1GB card.
I often run Aperture on both screens simultaneously, so I figure the system could use all the video RAM it can get to support 2x 1920x1200.
Cheers,
Luc

Well, I'm up to 10.5.4 now, with NVinstaller 0.52. I selected the 768Mb option, but there was no option for 1024. I tried editing the string in the Plist (It was suggested to use 00000040 for 1024MB, but that resulted in a reported RAM of -256MB.
anyways, I'll stay on the lookout.
