Guys, this is a popularity contest! Vote for the people you like and post a comment why you like them!!

Obama

Bush and Howard: views aren't compatible with mine. I consider myself centre-left they come across as rightist.

H. Clinton - Just don't like her (this is a popularity contest after all).

Between Obama and Rudd I think Obama will have a more global influence - apologizing is a fine gesture but not more than that. Obama has had and will have a more powerful effect on racial perceptions.

Wouldn't it be smarter to make the poll a 1-choice option thing, so each member can only select one person?

Barack Obama because he is young, charming and seems genuine. He reminds me of Tony Blair from the mid nineties.

I doubt you have 23million people in one city. I went to manhattan 2 weeks ago and it was basically like sydney at 9:30am

You can't add candidates when the election is already in progress tongue.gif

And see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_urban...s_by_population the Tokyo area has 30 million people in it.
dorkbydesign.

That must be interesting ;)

I was just kidding BTW. But the point is Rudd's influence is limited to Australia most of the rest of the world hasn't heard about him and he isn't in Obama's league - one local politico here has already calling himself the Indian Obama!

I can't believe George W. Bush gets as many votes as Hillary Clinton and almost half the votes Obama does.
I suppose if the US Constitution didn't forbid it, he would stand a good chance of being elected for the third time!

Thank God he didn't figure out a way to ignore that part of the Constitution too. I'm not sure how much more of his "legacy of peace" I can stand!
sportsman
Thank God for Constitutional Amendments!

I'm glad Bush couldn't see a way around that.

FDR ruined that though XD. Yay for the 22nd amendment
SteveStar
I choose Obama because he's inspiring and, in contrast to Bush, a very good leader I think (hope:P).
vbetts
No Steven Colbert? I'd vote for him. biggrin.gif

I like Obama, I really do. But, I don't like the idea of a national healthcare system. For some things in medical it works, but it really has its drawbacks too.

Bush, is stupid. Lawlz

Hillary, I think she has good ideas, but she'd be attacked as a Clinton.

Howard or Rudd, I really have nothing to say about either of them.

Jobs, he's just rich. I'd vote for him if I were paid to maybe. biggrin.gif
DukeRaoul
Screw all those losers, except maybe Steve could be deserving a little credit....

Where is RON PAUL ????
AKA the single last hope for America in the 2008 elections, who was shut out by the media mind control monopoly.
Gen0
Screw Hilary, don't like her attitude. Too overconfident, and I doubt she would have the humility to admit a mistake, which is something all presidents sometimes make.

Obama is a great speaker, and he seems intelligent and forward thinking, but I have yet to see him in action. I have high hopes though.

Bush. God NO. May as well put Sarah Palin for a great example of Texan stereotypes. (Her bloody yearbook has her dressed up as a cowboy holding a 12 gauge. And she wants to run for presidency. WTF)

Have to agree with vbetts on Howard and Rudd. Really don't know enough about them first hand.

Jobs. No way.

The entire economy would revert to being government owned, and he would redesign everything to be curvy, touch operated, and white. I don't want a curvy, touch operated white bed thank you. Nor do I want a curvy touch operated toothpaste, or a teacup. etc. etc.
