I find it interesting that while testing out an auto drop-down search thingy from google labs...

Actually, you're both. Also, Core Duo chips don't have 64-bit extensions, only Core 2 Duo. OSx86 usually refers to the running of OS X on regular x86 hardware, A.K.A. "hackintosh"

Or it could just mean any os that runs on x86
