3. edit <key>Yukon-88E8053</key> to <key>Yukon-88E8055</key>
4. edit <string>0×436211ab</string> to <string>0×436311ab</string>
5. edit <string>Yukon Gigabit Adapter 88E8053 Singleport Copper SA</string> to
<string>Yukon Gigabit Adapter 88E8055 Singleport Copper SA</string>
6. Ctrl+O enter and Ctrl+q to exit
7. download and install PCCard.10.5.2.Beta2.pkg.zip
8. reboot

Delete all (<key>Yukon-88E8055</key>) or just the numbers (88E8055) ?

delete all dict Yukon-88E8055 first <dict>......</dict> and edit dict 88E8053 to 88E8055

I know it is templting, folks, but DO NOT download and install the PC Card file unless you have 10.5.2. It WILL cause kernel panic. I speak from sad experience. It was one of those little nooby moments we all have when we throw logic to the wind and do something stupid out of desperation.

I did exactly as mentioned in the first post, but it didn't work .. I installed PCCard.10.5.2.Beta3 then, and, after rebbot, it stops saying that IO Network could not .. something .. is there any way to skip that step or .. whatever i could do to enter in my leopard again ???
I have Kalyway 10.5.2 installed .

I installed yukon2 driver from your kextClick to view attachment, I exactly do what your guide says, but when i reboot my kalyway 10.5.2 the ethernet light turn off, infact in System preference/network i see a ethernet connection configuration, but it says that the cable is not connected ( it isnt true). i have a 88E8055 yukon. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME. SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH

I only had to edit the info list per your instructions with 10.5.5 (10.5.5 Ideneb) and Sony VGN-FW160D which uses the Marvell 88e8055. Thanks so much. Now if I can get the wifi and hd3470 working properly. The experiment continues.

THANK YOU. This worked for me too... Ethernet down, wireless and audio to go. For the record, I have Fujistu C1410 with Vista and Kalyway 10.5.2 Dual boot.

I'm using a Sony FW160D with 10.5.5 Kalyway. I did the editting of the AppleYukon2.kext file and changed the id of the 88E8053 to 88E8055 and delete the orginal 88E8055 section. reset the permissions and rebooted. Works great.

i use kalyway 10.5.2 , downloaded the beta3 of the PC package above , i edited first the Info file , but after that i installed the .kext files (both at the same time) with this Osx86 Tool . is this ok ?

i rebootet, but no marvell yukon network card is avaiable. whats wrong ?

besides i had Apple.Yukon2.kext , and Apple.Yukon2.kext.orig ... <- i edited the Info file inside the .kext dir, not the kext.orig.

any ideas ?
