i went to the uphuck forums today and got

I got the same info when I visited yesterday, it sounds like Uphuck got upset by the huge amount requests for help (from what he describes as Noobs), I found this statement insulting as I consider myself a relative noob and would expect some sort of (basic) support from the developer.

Imho iATKOS should have been tested the install on a wider variety of components before it's release if he didn't want to handle the barrage of pleas for help.

Yesterday in their IRC channel someone asked about SpeedStep and they promptly started kicking people out of the channel. As of a few minutes ago I'm still banned.

I didn't even ask for much help aside from some Mac questions since I'm a Mac noob altogether. Well, was fun while it lasted, and I have plenty of other resources for Mac help.

or at least install the boot kernels on the dvd because i cant even install it.the dvd boot panics 2 seconds after it starts booting.however the uphuck 10.4.9 dvd boots and installs ok maybe someone could reverse engineer the 10.4.9 dvd and copy the boot stuff to the iatkos and build a new iatkos dvd.something i am trying now is to see if i can bypass the installer by using pacifist .you said banned do you get a message saying "banned" or is it the same message i posted?once uphuck cools off and starts the board up try clearing all your cookies and registering a new name via proxy (sometimes that gets around a ban).
