Hi all,
I've been searching the forums here and at hackintosh, only to be left in the dark on how to make appropriate selections when installing iDeneb_v1.5_1057. What sort of hardware considerations should I be taking into account when I arrive at the 'customize' screen?
My issue is that after I restart, and boot into the 'mac' HDD (I assume this is the right step, it's not fully specified in any guide I've read), then I get a gray screen with a shiny apple icon, and sometimes, I even get the gray spinning icon below, from there, I've not been able to go further. I also, after entering the BIOS after restart, and choosing the appropriate HD, don't get a choice on how to boot the device (aka, no time/area to enter a -v or -legacy (I want to try that one)).
I'm just wondering if this is something I can change, or if nothing will work with my hardware. I see a ton of setup specific guides, which are great, but I built my rig, and I doubt any of those will work specifically for me. Is there a guideline somewhere that I am missing to provide me some info on which fixes, kernel, drivers, etc.. I should be choosing? I've been through several iterations, and different configs, and none get me past this point.
For conversations sake, here's my hardware (from Msinfo32.exe):
