The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 netbook is raising the bar for higher levels of netbook computing with choices of the Intel Atom processor with Intel integrated graphics or the Intel Atom processor with NVIDIA ION graphics.
Dainix
Hopefully, it'll support 2GB of RAM. My U100 would be sold outright for one of these beauties.

yep id say this is perfectly hackable, wifi has a broadcomm chipset i believe which works out fine with the broadcomm bcm43xx driver right here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=51725. as for the graphics a 950 and 9400M are both graphic cards that will work on osx (qe/ci) if the proper patches are installed (9400M) might work right out of the box or might need the Nvidia 9xxx driver im not sure but it will definately be supported along with the 1280x800 resolution.

the problem is only the gma950 is available right now and well have to wait for windows 7's release in october for the nvidia ion motherboard sad.gif

and yes Dainix, the s12 does support up to 2GB of ram

any ideas on how to fix this?
I have tried the MSIWINDx86.iso and kalyway 10.5.2.
both do the same thing.

Unplug your internet connection.... worst case scenario turn off lan in bios....
matteusclement
cant turn off lan in bios...
but i got it working barely with kalyway 10.5.2 and a little patching.
getting the video to not look like crap is tough.
