hello,
I got my system full working including my graphics card now and with QE-CI fully working.
Tough I have no sound. Well actually I do have sound using VoodooHDA but it is cracking as hell.
I can almost hear nothing. If there is a way to fix this I would really appreciate if you tell.

BUMP?

Hello Sarkdog,

Newegg lists a couple USB sound I/O adapters that could get you by until a kext solution arrives. It's not as elegant as plugging into the MB for sound, but it should work.

Having an 889 chip, I haven't had to try one myself. However, it should be easy to find numerous reviews all over that Interweb thing.

Best of luck.

Thanks, I was thinking of that but I'm not sure which one will work tongue.gif.
