Hi All,

I have snow leopard set up on a Gigabyte g31m-es2l (rev 2.x) board, and everything is now working except for the sound. I've tried installing the Realtek883 kexts, that i've found. I've tried installing some fixer applications, and nothing seems to be working (going to applications-> sound gives no output devices)

Does anybody have a sure fire fix out there? I've gone through a lot of manuals, but am not getting anything good out of it

Thanks,

~Lyuokdea

small update....using the Voodoo hda software, I now have the operating system recognizing the existence of the sound card...but I still have no sound coming out. Is there some other small trick to get the audio to actually work?

Thanks,

I am very sorry Lyuokdea. I know least about this topic. But I got this link for you after a little search. I hope it would help you.
