Hi all,

I am having trouble getting my AD1984 to work on my Thinkpad X300. I first installed VoodooHDA and fixed permissions, etc, rebooted, and I did not get any audio and no audio devices showed up as having a loaded kext in system profiler.

So then I found some instructions on sound in an X60 which also has an AD1984, which says to install AppleHDA and AppleAzaliaAudio. Then, I also added an EFI string to my boot.plist. Now I see this in my System profiler, but still do not get audio (shows as muted and no output devices)

it seems as though a clean install of VoodooHDA from the google site worked, thanks!
