Good day,

I have a set of Logitech USB Headsets:

CODE
Logitech USB Headset:

  Product ID:    0x0a0b
  Vendor ID:    0x046d  (Logitech Inc.)
  Version:    10.13
  Speed:    Up to 12 Mb/sec
  Manufacturer:    Logitech
  Location ID:    0x3d100000
  Current Available (mA):    500
  Current Required (mA):    100

I have both a Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio (doesn't work) and Integrated Audio (ALC888). I haven't yet found a solution for the Sound Blaster so I'm using the 888 for my audio (I'm not sure if that actually matters for usb audio though. I'm not a hardware guy.) When I try to listen to audio through my headsets or use the microphone the audio output and input are choppy. I get a break in the audio about every five seconds. I have AppleAzaliaAudio.kext and AppleHDA.kext for my drivers. I also have an AppleUSBAudio.kext. I don't have an HDAEnabler.kext. I haven't modified any plists to include my headsets. My ALC888 works splendidly but I would really like a fix for the headsets. Does anyone know of a solution? I have an 2.80GHz Duo processor so I don't think that it would tax the processor enough to cause the skipping.

Thanks,
Brandon

Could I benefit, as far as the USB audio goes, from downloading and installing the VoodooHDA.kext driver instead of my current setup (see above).

Have there been any advances made on this subject recently?
