Hi there,

I'm looking desperately for a solution to get my Intel ICH9 Audio-Chip working because even after several attempts it still refuses to work. So you're my last chance to get some Sounds into MacOS. Please Help me.

System Specifications:

- FSC Esprimo Mobile V6505 (Notebook)
- Intel ICH9 Chipset
- Intel T3400 2 x 2.16 Ghz CPU
- Realtek High Definition Audio
- Something about "Intel ICH9 82801"
- VEN_10EC
- DEV_0269

- Intel GMA 4500HD Graphics Card

Thanks for your reply. I'll try it today. Maybe I got some luck and it works :-)

I tried the way, described in the tutorial you've posted but it didn't work. sad.gif Neither the speakers nor the line-out port is working. Although the System Profiler got some extra information not even the speaker symbol appears besides the clock. Any other suggestions?

Audio Codec ID seems to be:

0x1734113F Maybe this helps solving the problem.
