I have the Asus P5E-VM HDMI with Kalyway 10.5.2 Vanilla.

I have some strange sound issues. The sound works, but when you hit play there's a second of fuzz and then the sound kicks in. In some programs like iTunes when you first switch to the program it will have this problem, then afterwards it will be fine. So that isn't a huge deal.

The big problem I have is Final Cut Pro. When I'm working in FCP it has this problem every time I hit play. So it makes editing a huge pain. Just to play a clip, I hit play, there's audio fuzz, stuttering and then the audio starts. Drives me nuts.

I have tried installing various audio kexts and the problem sticks with me.

Any help or suggestions would be amazing. Thanks.
