Hey everyone, I'm fairly new here, but I've done a lot of browsing around. There are quite a few older threads posted about the ALC662 chipset, but does anyone know if there have been any definitive breakthroughs as far as a single kext/driver that is superior to the others available? Currently I'm just using the Multidriver package from machead5678 so I have working audio out, but mostly what I'm looking for is something that will give me audio input as well. Thanks for your time, appreciate all responses.

I doubt there will be any breakthrough that will allow input.

If you want audio input, get yourself a cheap USB sound dongle or USB microphone/headset.
