Hi

I'm all new to mac and especially to the whole OSX86-scene..

I've however managed to install Mac OSX 10.4.6 on my PC..

The only thing that doesn't work is the audio.. I've got a Creative SoundBlaster Live!-card which, from what i've read, should be able to do the job..

I've, as a macn00b, just downloaded the kX-driver and executed the file and followed the install. Then i just simply rebooted the computer and thought the sound would work, but it didn't..

Now, can anybody give me some directions to how i successfully install the driver?

It depend what kind chip you have on your Sound Blaster card. Not all cards are supported. Do some googlingl like Sound Blaster OSx86 Some of Sound Blaster cards are supported.

Please check this page: http://kb.kxproject.lugosoft.com/list.html
Here is compability list. Check that your model is in supported models list. IF you have OEM product, you probably having unsupported card.

Please not that Apple does not make drivers for hardware that they dont use for their computers, so you have to search and educate yourself a lot if you are using hardware that not supported by Apple. On some cases you have to make audio driver byyourself.
