Audio: VIA VT1708B 8 -Channel High-Definition Audio CODEC
Anti-Pop Function
Jack-detect & Multi-Streaming
Support S/PDIF Out connector

I think my sound card is same as you

My mB is ASUS P5KPL/1600 and in docs say audio is
Intel HDA ICH7.
In windows device properties say: Vendor: 1106 and DEV e721

Is the same audio card?

At moment i not have sound.

i tryed to edit AppleAzaliaAudio.kext

but it don't work

Hi has anyone got away to get sound to work with this, i to have the VIA VT1708B on a Asus P5KPL-AM G31i motherboard.

I'd be happy with just 2 speaker stereo for now if there isn't a fully working kext for 7.1.

Try the attached kext, this wil give you output only.

Thanks for this, I will test once I've finished work and will post my results.

Oh is there a that this might mess up my install (make it unbootable) or will it simple work or not work?
