Full Version: Asus X51H no sound problem

Hello!

I have a notebook ASUS X51H with ALC660-vD onboard.
All works pretty fine, except sound.

I have tried to work with AppleAzalia.kext, AppleHDA.kext by MadTux and many other similar kexts. I have got sound icon at top bar, but with all configurations there is no sound at all.

I have similar problems with WInXP until i downloaded windows driver from realtek site.
AppleHDAAPatcher do not work with codec dump listed above.
Please help me what to do, Where I must patch AppleHDA kext?

Thank you.

As i discovered from linux alsa source, alc660-vd is version of alc861-vd
http://download2.dvd-driver.cz/realtek/dat...tasheet_1.1.pdf

It's structure identical to my linux codec dump. Where can i patch my AppleHDA to produce any sound from notebook?

PS my system is kalyway 10.5.1

Drivers from this forum don't match, as I have understood, soundcard isn't initialized correctly.

I have read patch_realtek.c from linux, there I saw initialization sequence for my soundcard:

If I encode this structure into AppleHDA format, can I pass it to AppleHDA as PinConfig?
