i am using iPC 10.5.6, and i unstalled using the ALC 268 option in the customization of the installer (closest i could find to ALC 260).

upon first boot, i had no sound on my speakers (in retrospect i should have checked the headphone jack, because the System Pref menu showed an Output device, and the system pretended like it had working sound, even itunes pretended to play)

so i used AppleHDA patcher, with the ALC260 package i got here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...mp;#entry598675

now the system doesnt even have any audio options.

how can i undo what i did with the AppleHDA patcher? (and any hints on getting my ALC260 to work?)
