Full Version: Looking for a sound card for my Hackintosh

So i have my hackintosh and i currently use a cheap external sound card that has 2 channel out and its fine for now however i would like to get a internal pci card that supports 5.1 optical out. If there are no internal options external works to, it could be firewire, usb, pci, or pcie 1x (the little mini pcie slot) any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This would of course be all unessesary if i could get me motherboards built in audio to work (its an m3n78-em with the Realtech alc 1200) however whatever kext i install (including the one that is supposed to make it work doesn't, so now hopefully you guys can tell me a solution to my problem ether by helping me to get the onboard to work or by getting a card.
Thanks
Marclh
I would like to know what a good sound card is for OS X and is supported with a driver from here or a manufacturer's driver.

My sound card I have now is onboard, but I only get output audio using AppleAzalia audio kext and the sound quality on that is pretty bad.
