Hi I'm new to Macs and new to this Forum.
Just today after installing leopard I notice that there's no sound.
System Profiler lists (MacBookPro4,1)
Intel High Definition Audio:
Device ID: 0x15580481
I have no idea how to find/install the kext files required to identify the sound card.
In addition to that, my Ram is being detected as DDR2 667 MHz when it should rightly be DDR3 800 MHz
Halp guys, I can't learn programming without music.

I am having the same problem...I have realtec ALC888 with hda, neither the 888 kext or the azalia kext will work, the azalia kext has my id correctly written to it, but still no go. havent checked the 888, nothing is working. please help. Thanks
