Full Version: Insufficient information in System Profiler Audio (Built-in)

I have got sound after installing Taruga's AppleHDA patch with ALC888 codec dump. I also installed HDAEnabler.kext found in this forum, but in my System Profiler -> Audio (Built-in) it shows only Device ID and Audio ID and Available devices is blank (screenshot given below).

How to get detailed Audio information, please help.

Try the ones from the HCL for the Dell 530. These work for me and give both speakers and headphone jacks. http://www.mediafire.com/?hjaddnmzq1w is a direct link to the audio package.

i am having the same problem but i have nothing in the device id as well but i have got the sound a weird one though which keeps switching on and off, i think i have no Audio Drivers installed yet, can anybody help me with installing Audio Drivers???

Try installing AppleHDA patch by Taruga.

i installed that patcher but i m not getting any info of my Audio in the MAC INFO Box. It is displaying the Device ID but there is no other information available sad.gif
