Well, my lspci says retourn:

If I install Azaliasound driver, it appears as if it worked, but no sound came off.
In theory I need ACL883 which supports ICH8 but if I install the .pkg it still don't work.
in the info.plist of AppleAC97AudioIntelICH.kext apears that:

As you can see ICH8 don't appear.
There is anyway to fix sound??

Wiht osx86tools I installed acl268 and then in audio midi configutarion i changed to 48000
speaker, jack and mic working

i got the same problem same driver i got no sound no speakers no headphone

This is the fie I use. Same setup, you have to remove AppleHDA.kext, AppleAC97AudioIntelICH.kext. Keep HDAEnabler.kext for no reason but to show in the System Profiler! It will work without it!! I zipped it to post it! Install with KextHelper BUT still do a repairpermissions! I'm working on MadTux to provide a solution!

It only gives Audio Out but it's better than nothing

Feeling like abit of a tard. Ive tried to follow your instructions but am completely unable to get audio to work on this machine.

I have installed all sorts of kernel extensions so I figure ive nuked something.

Could you please post a reply with all the steps to get this working from a fresh 10.5.5 upgrade.
