I already posted something about this issue in another part of the forum, which in the wrong section. I'm new to OSX86 and don't know really know much what i'm actually doing, however i managed to setup Jas mac on my asus A3Ac laptop. I have an intel 915GM onboard chip with ALC880. Sound works, however lines out/in won't work. Besides, sound is choppy and skips whenever the cpu load increases. For example if i'm playing itunes and and i move my mouse everything gets distorted.

I would greatly appreciate if anyone could offer some help or some tutorial about the kexts. I read something about them however i don't understand their real purpose and how i can make use of them to solve my problem. Thanks very much
