I have everything working darn near perfectly on my hac except the sound. Everything plays fine and i can adjust the volume and mute it and all that jazz, but when i try to record via the mic-input i get a ton of static. I tried recording the same thing in Audacity on my XP partition and got a very clean signal, but using garageband and audacity in osx i get a really messy signal. Anyone know what might be doing this?
My setup is leo 10.5.4 (all vanilla) on a GA-P35-DS3L mobo.
