I'm Using a Dell Inspiron 1525. The sound and webcam work fine after running the dell package, but I'm wondering about these two questions:

1. Is there any way to get the built-in HD mic to work? or am i stuck with a non working mic?

2. I have a "Lightsnake" which is basically an audio cable that connects to a computer Via USB. It doesn't get detetted whatsoever when connected.

I'm a musician, and aside from wanting to experience and compare Mac OS X, my music is the main reason i wanted OSX on my PC in the first place. can anyone help?
