hello all

just got my osx install working on my HP desktop, with 3.0ghz P4, everything is working out of the box expect the sound, and VLC also crashes, anyways all i want is the SOUND!!!!
(aside: osx is installed on external usb drive and i use boot menu from bios to load, just testing and sorting everything out for a nice install on a actual SATA hd smile.gif )


can anyone help me out i have the specs of the mobo here:

is there any way for me to get sound??

yea i looked at the site u mentioned, but i see no specific file for alc880....ill have another look at vendor id....
