I've got a P5K-E board and was hoping to get 5.1 support but Taruga's site is down. Does anyone have a link/mirror for the v3 installer?

how can I increase the mic volume?

I can confirm that this works with

- kalyway 10.5.2 install
- asus p5e, bios version 0702

Rear and front panel audio out works, audio input and output shows up in the system profiler. I have not tested audio input. I am currently using the front panel headphone output.

I did a "show contents" on the Taruga_AD1988b_rev_Installer and then installed Contents/Resoures/AppleHDA.kext using kext helper. Your favorite way to install a kext would work.

Pretty good. It would be nice to see the sources for this kext so digital input could be enabled.

the rev3 installer is not working for me (i'm on a p5b-e), does anyone have rev4?
after installation there are 2 devices in audio in system profiler, but no out- or inputs are shown :/

I have an asus p5k-e and kalyway 10.5.1 comboupdated to 10.5.3 software updated to 10.5.4.

I installed the taruga rev3 drivers, and the sound config in system preferences doesn't expose mic level controls (exactly as the 3rd screenshot of digdugbug's shows), and also, there is no way to mute the system (mute button doesn't work, and the mute option is greyed out in system config). Has anyone tried rev4? Unfortunately I can't since the taruga site is down...

Same here, Asus P5B-Premium, it seems to recognize Line-out, Headphone and Mic, but speakers remain silent.
