I can't get my front panel audio headers to work in OSX. They work fine in Vista with the driver. Apparently the board is not meant for anything but Windows (bleh). I have tried the taruga patcher, azailia audio drivers, and the one thing that works is the ALC888 installer (BTW it is ALC888 HD Audio). I tried all the options in the installer and none of them work. Any ideas?

There is an option in BIOS that lets me turn on and off the front panel audio. Its on.... doesn't seem to help.

here is the board home page if it helps -> link

I am using one of the Ultra Media Dashboards for the audio ports. This thing is crap DONT GET IT!!! somehow they mixed up the definitions of 1394 and serial and keyed the jacks the wrong way.

ps. where do i set my signature?

god i just love how helpful this board is ....... HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

well, i got the front panel output to work with Taruga's patch. The one direction for that thing is a bit ambiguous. "Drop the file on the application icon" should be "drop the file on the application icon IN FINDER". I couldnt figure out how it wasnt working. Bleh. Thanks to all that helped censored2.gif
