Has anyone got a Stanton scratchamp fs2 working under thier hackintosh in leopard. It shows up in system profiler as unknown device and therefore does not show up in midi settings.

The driver for this is natively built into osx so i do not understand why this is not working.. It works fine on my macbook .

Im running kalyway 10.5.1 upgragded to 10.5.2.

Is there a modification to do to a kext or soemthing ???

I hope someone out there has a scratchamp working and can give me a solution smile.gif

Thanks

Solved by plugging into different firewire port on same card .

What do you mean??? Ive tried plugging it into both of the firewire ports on the sratchamp and no luck. Is there anything else you need to config, a kext to edit, a plist to add you device id into???

I have a scratch amp I have connected it through first FW port and it recognises the device as scratchamp000 but only one input and one output work...
Stanton sucks as they totally abandoned this product and they haven't developed it themselves (NI did) in the first place now native instruments have their own product doing the same thing as FS2...

It is a pitty that we can not use the full potential...
