Hi,

Is there any way to get a Terratec 512i digital PCI card working on Tiger 10.4.11? (Leopard doesn't work on my PC)
It has the same ID as the ForteMedia FM801-AU (ProduktID=801, VendorID=1319).

There's also a Sigmatel C-Major Audio chip (same ID as SiS7012) on my mainboard (SiS 648/648FX Chipset on Fujitsu Siemens D1675 board),
but it doesn't work.
I tried almost everthing, also the SiS7012.zip on that thread:

In the System Profiler there doesn't appear any card of them two.
In the Sound Panel from the System Prefereces just appear Soundflower (2ch) and Soundflower (16ch), but no real sound device.

If nothing would help: Which low cost soundcard (pci or usb) would defenitely work on OSX?

Could anyone please help me?
Everything works fine except the sound (and dvb-s, but different topic).

Noone any idea?
I also have lying around an old Yamaha DS2416 (DSP Factory), my dad's former audio producing card.
Maybe would that work, just for audio output? There is a mac driver, but just a classic one, running until OS9.
