I have installed leopard 10.5 and can't get the sound working. I have done some searching but can't find a complete guide.

I have the realteck 871 chipset in my laptop

Any help is appreciated.

i couldnt get my sound either although i located several kexts for it (ALC662).

so i bought a behringer UCA202 USB soundcard for £30 delivered from amazon, arrived next day (today) and it works. its supposed to have low latency aswell if u plan on using logic etc.

was scary at first as it didnt recognise until a reboot....(same as my USB memory stick)
