Per il wifi sicuramente devi moddare il bios e cambiare scheda wifi prendendone una mac compatibile... Oppure una soluzione meno invasiva (che ti consiglio, per esperienza personale) è quella di prendere una wifi usb... Per la scheda video io mi sono accontentato della HD3000 integrata... tuttavia i risultati sono buoni. Ho provato a modificare il DSDT ma con risultati catastrofici, per cui ci ho rinunciato. Le usb 3 non vanno, penso per una questione di gestione delle alimentazioni, e questo inizia ad essere un problema più grande che io non ho saputo risolvere e nè tantomeno ho trovato qualcuno disposto ad aiutarmi o che abbia risolto il problema. A me non va neanche il lettore di SD. In ogni caso se riesci a risolvere in qualche modo fammi un fischio Ciao Ciao

Il problema è che ogni istallazione è a se stante... Non è detto che ti funzioni tutto se segui la mia guida. E' molto probabile che funzioni se segui la procedura dall'inizio. Per la 10.7.3 non ho provato a fare niente perchè non reputavo necessari gli aggiornamenti e non mi volevo sbattere oltre, dato che sono soddisfatto dei risultati ottenuti. Quindi non so dirti se il kernel funziona anche con la 7.3, dovresti cercare qualcosa nei vari forum se non erro avevo già letto in merito. Per quanto riguarda la DSDT ti potrei dire di più se aggiungessi come firma le tue caratteristiche hardware (ti consiglio di farlo anche per permettere ad altri di darti una mano). Per la doppia scheda video ho provato qualcosa ma sembra che non funzioni (almeno sul mio pc). Il mod del Bios serve semplicemente a rimuovere la whitelist dell'hardware consentito dal Bios in modo da poter installare una scheda Wifi Mac compatibile. Spero di esserti stato d'aiuto. Ho vissuto in prima persona i problemi che stai vivendo tu e ti capisco... Tuttavia ti consiglio di cercare e leggere nei vari forum... ci sono le risposte a quasi tutte le domande che ti stai ponendo, anche perchè l'hardware in circolazione bene o male è sempre quello... The problem is that when you mod the bios everytime you will enter the bios to modify it, it won't save the new settings and it will give checksum error... The thing you should try is to mod again the original bios then made the change to the bios settings and then mod the bios again with patched one... Then to solve bios restart error you have to follow what i wrote before... What i suggest to you is to leave the bios battery and the main battery unplugged and work only with the charger till you solve the problem. In this way you just need to unplug the charger for about 20 seconds to made restart possible... Bye G.

...and what happen to your system if you plug some device in (even a mouse)? Cause mine freeze and i need to hard shutdown the laptop keeping pressed the powerbutton

External should work but you have to chose one card compatible with mac os of course, and you will always have an usb filled with usb wifi card. Considering that usb3 won't work you will have one always busy on two available... If you solve the usb3 problem let me know

Insyde Bios has a whitelist of the hardware permitted so if you put any wifi card different from the one you have natively installed on your laptop you bios will stop loading, giving some error i can't remember. So if you want to change wifi card you have to mod the bios...

io il kernel l'ho patchato dopo l'installazione... non vorrei fosse quello il problema prova a reinserire il kernel originale che carica [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] o meglio prova a ricreare la usb di installazione con [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] e avvia con i flags che hai usato prima ovvero: cpus=1 busratio=18 -x -v

Devi caricare il fakeSMC se vuoi che ti funzioni il tutto... cpus=1 lo devi mettere fino a che non patchi il kernel... Una curiosità hai creato la cartella Extra sull'hard disk principale copiandola dalla USB di installazione ([url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url])?

Hi everybody, does somebody of you get usb3.0 and sd card reader working on HP DV6 series? the details of the peripherals are the following: - USB3.0 NEC/RENESAS: Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller [1033-0194] - SD CARD READER: Realtek PCIE CardReader [10EC-5209] For USB3, i've tried PHXCD. Results: Super speed BUS showed in system info but everytime any device is plugged in OS freeze For SD Reader: tried some kext without any result Any help would be much appreciated THX in advance G

Se vuoi moddare il bios devi eliminare dal disco la partizione HP_TOOLS e cmq a me non è servito moddarlo per l'installazione quanto per sbloccare la whitelist ... hai provato con la mia guida?
