  1. I asked one of my friends to see if he can do it. But there has to be a better guide then the link you posted.
  2. I would gladly do any of the legit methods if i had a Mac to do it on. Isn't there any method for ONLY PC?
  3. Hello? Is there something about Darwin x86 that is special?
  4. How to fix Starting Darwin x86 error. I have tried everything i could think of with: -v, -x, -f, -s, cpus=1, busratio=34, PCIRootUID=1 Here are my specs: Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Socket 1155 Intel Z77 Chipset Dual Channel DDR3 1600/1333/1066 MHz 3x PCI-Express x16 GigaLAN 7.1-CH HD Audio 5x SATA 6Gb/s 2.4 x SATA 3Gb/s 6x USB 2.0 10x USB 3.0 VGA/DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort ATX CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 Quad- Core Socket 1155, 3.4Ghz, 8MB L3 Cache, 22nm (Retail Boxed) Gen3 (BX80637I73770) Case: NZXT Phantom WHITE w/RED Enthusiast Full Tower Case (NZXTPHAN003RD) SSD: OCZ (VTX4-25SAT3-128G) Vertex 4 2.5" 128GB SATA3 6GB/s Solid State Drive, Read: 560MB/s, Write: 430MB/s RAM: 64.99 G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series DDR3 1866MHz (PC3-14900) 8GB (2x4GB) Dual Channel Kit (F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL) PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX850 V2 850W 80PLUS Bronze Certified Power Supply (CMPSU-850TXV2) CPU Cooler: Corsair (CWCH80) Hydro Series H80 High-performance CPU Cooler -- for Intel 2011/1366/1156/1155/775 & AMD AM3/AM2+/AM2 Temporary GPU: Sapphire 6450 1gb Used iatkos l1/l2, iatkos s3, iatkos v7. Tried in virtualbox and same error. I cannot find ANYTHING on ANYONE being able to succesfully get this fix working. WHY is this not working? WHAT are the causes? WHAT BIOS settings? Please Help.
  5. I ran iatkos l2 in virtualbox in my windows 7 partition. I get stuck at "Starting Darwin x86". Is there something to fix for this?
  6. I used Transmac to burn the DMG to dvd. It is in ISO form. So I will not be able to do that. Can you open the DMG in Tranmac and add it in? I have tried using another graphics card. The sapphire 6450 but the same thing happens. When i verbose boot, some lines come up CPU, RAM stuff. Before I able to read the last lines it turns black. It is like it is switching screens and them it settles to to the black. I ran iatkos l2 in virtualbox in my windows 7 partition. I get stuck at "Starting Darwin x86". Is there something to fix for this?
  7. No, I do not have a Mac. I just got the retail from PB. And all ports are ACHI Yes, I am using onboard graphics. How do I do this? I am not sure. How would I go about checking this and then doing this?
  8. Here are my system specs Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Socket 1155 Intel Z77 Chipset Dual Channel DDR3 1600/1333/1066 MHz 3x PCI-Express x16 GigaLAN 7.1-CH HD Audio 5x SATA 6Gb/s 2.4 x SATA 3Gb/s 6x USB 2.0 10x USB 3.0 VGA/DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort ATX CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 Quad- Core Socket 1155, 3.4Ghz, 8MB L3 Cache, 22nm (Retail Boxed) Gen3 (BX80637I73770) Case: NZXT Phantom WHITE w/RED Enthusiast Full Tower Case (NZXTPHAN003RD) SSD: OCZ (VTX4-25SAT3-128G) Vertex 4 2.5" 128GB SATA3 6GB/s Solid State Drive, Read: 560MB/s, Write: 430MB/s RAM: 64.99 G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series DDR3 1866MHz (PC3-14900) 8GB (2x4GB) Dual Channel Kit (F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL) PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX850 V2 850W 80PLUS Bronze Certified Power Supply (CMPSU-850TXV2) CPU Cooler: Corsair (CWCH80) Hydro Series H80 High-performance CPU Cooler -- for Intel 2011/1366/1156/1155/775 & AMD AM3/AM2+/AM2 I have tried all the OSX versions i have. I have tried retail 10.7.3, Lion l1 & l2, Leopard and Snow Leopard... with rBoot All times I see some initial lines and in the iatkos I see the stuff after that(with grey background). When the GUI should come up it does not. What shows is black screen. I have installed windows 7 on the system and partitioned the drive to install the osx but I cannot get to the GUI so nothing is happening. My BIOS version is F8, It have tried most of these in F5(came with it). What settings does my BIOS need to be? I was told that all my specs work, so it should be the BIOS settings. If pictures could be provided that would be great.
  9. I just finished building my computer and it was working normally when i turned it on first but after it kept giving me static. Even the first screen itself hangs. My Specs are as follows: Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77 UD5h CPU: Intel i7 3770 Cooler: Corsair H80 RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X 1866MHz 8GB SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 128GB PSU: Corsair TX850 Case: NZXT Phantom Full Tower VGA Monitor I have only recently (yesterday) finished. The first boot i was scared but i heard the beep and was happy. I was able to play with the BIOS (i only turned virtulization on and made DVD drive before SSD). I looked up the CPU temperatures to see if the cooler was working great and it was 25 degrees Celsius. I was able to turn the computer on like this about 2 times before the problem occurred. I turn on the computer and go to BIOS and i receive these coloured static lines. Sometimes black screen. Sometimes black screen with with different coloured bars. I do not know what the problem is. I have tried switching to the backup BIOS but it worked for a little bit and not it does not. I cannot hear a beep anymore. It takes a few seconds after the main Gigabyte screen loads for the problem to start. I would really like urgent help thanks. I have checked the light beside the motherboard power button once or twice. The figures were not in the error section but still trying to boot. I loaded default settings at the beginning and rebooted. The problem began after i booted 3-4 times later. Since then I have tried the BIOS reset switch, cleared the CMOS and even switched to the backup BIOS. Also it cannot be the monitor because it works perfectly connected to my laptop. Thank you! *I am leaning towards the CPU graphics being the problem now. The BIOS and gigabyte splash screen pops up but after that it just hangs. With the monitor static. *I keep getting the normal lights, no error . The lights just stay the same when the static comes. The lights range from AE to AB (boot legacy to boot BIOS), depending on what I was doing before.
