    Haven't touched it. Probably won't as it's case sensitive and it doesn't work on a fusion drive and it can't be a startup disk.

    Installed on my iMac 5k and rMBP. Everything is looking good.

    That's so strange haha. Maybe they haven't configured it yet for older models? Also, that's strange that the apple logo is missing. I have no idea :S

    Just just checking on this community, I have so many macs now haha and I can answer this question. On my retina MBP the boot animation is black because of the border and on my MBA it's white because of the silver border. By border, I'm talking about the actual frame around the screen. Not installed Yosemite on my iMac but this follows the iOS 7 appearance with white and black iPhones. TLDR; the colour is connected to your device config;

    I didn't need to edit my kexts. Just boot up with GraphicsEnabler=no FBname=Aji ATIConfig=Aji ^^

    What is exactly wrong? Do you have translucent menu bar? (You cropped it off the screenshot so I couldn't tell). Seems to me you have QE/CI, my 7870 1GHZ Tahiti 2GB is working fine under 10.9 DP2.

    AfterEffects should never work, regardless of what OS in my past experience. It's just one of those apps that require some sort of technology that doesn't seem to function with hacks :/

    Sorry for not replying to PMs, are you sure you done this, because this is the main problem that you got the error 'still waiting for root device': - Reboot and configure your BIOS and make sure the drive that the partition is on is set as AHCI.

    Is your hard drive in BIOS set to AHCI? I can't load your image right now but shoot me a PM if this doesn't work. You can also try safe mode -x

    Drifting back and forth, the kernel that is linked for the 64bit apps only work with bulldozer (FX) processors. Phenom processors will not be able to run them since they're missing SSSE3 instructions.

    Thanks :3 I try making my guides VERY easy to follow. The third method is difficult but can be done. Additionally if you know how to attached physical partitions to the VirtualBox, then you'll be able to install directly on the partition from within VirtualBox, but this is not very easy and I didn't want to include this in the guide since the methods that I have written up seem to cover the most reasonable options. I don't use Hackintosh Machines anymore unfortunately, I'm using all genuine products. - Devout I will update guide to Mountain Lion, when there is a kernel. -Goodluck guys!     hehe. Nope I'm not programming, but I've started learning C-Objective Programming. I'm more of a designer then a programmer, but I want to implement my design into my own systems, so I want to save time and effort of finding someone else to implement these and just do it myself . But hobbies can get really fun, and I'm glad you've found something you're interested in.

    Good on you for this project, I know we all have doubts, it's a good project to keep to yourself. I'm not familiar with how to add support for AMD on the older mach kernels (Lion/Snow Leopard etc.), but those who added support had an experience background, and to an extent only made so much work over a period of time, and it took them a while. Keep going, as it's better to be determined then just sit here! But, maybe another hobby like xcode coding is more enticing
