How far do we take intolerance? I was born and grew in Sicily, but in this small town often I haven't felt very welcome. Just because I was born 1 hour drive from here. Or maybe because I spent so many years in other countries. One thing is for sure. From many points of view I am not one of them. But everything is going to change very soon, it is no time for petty intolerances any longer

When I was an administrator, I had something else in mind about what qualified as a "Big Issue" 😂 Never mind, that time is long, long gone and I am an entirely different person.

In reality I don't use Linux very much at all, even if I have some distribution always installed, mostly Linux Mint. For many years my favourite operating system was OS X, but after Yosemite I began to like it less and less. Now my main OS is Windows 10. Believe it or not Microsoft is investing a lot on Windows 10, making it a very good OS

By any means boycott it. A year subscription costs $49 and recently it is quite buggy. I use Linux Mint Cinammon which comes with GParted. Else you could even buy a commercial utility, like Acronis Disk Director. Same price as Parted Magic, but with support and it works all the time.

InsanelyMac is not really an enemy of Apple. Many IM users buy Macs, iPhones, iPads. If Apple had perceived us as dangerous enemies we couldn't last a day. OTOH Apple is killing the Mac. Either they don't upgrade them, or if they do, like in the case of the MacBook Pro, the prices are absolutely preposterous. As to Mac OS it has become pitiful, incredibly slow, buggy as hell... So why buy a Mac when for around 1000 euro you can buy a good PC, either a desktop or a notebook, and use an operating system (Windows 10) that overall is quite good (and improving all the time)

They make very good mobile phones though

2 consigli. 1)Evitare le versioni OS X più recenti, specialmente da El Capitan in poi. 2)Quando si tratta di portatili e' sempre meglio scegliere un vero Mac. Diverso il discorso per i fissi.
