  1. Updated with pics. Sorry, been busy with life... More
  2. Hey all, I'm selling my Mac Pro Mod case as I haven't used that desktop in forever. No scratches, dings, or anything really. Comes with: fully working modified sled cables (Both SATA and Power) fully working Front USB mod (SATA to USB) back cover was cut for my m-atx case, but never got around to finishing it (will provide pics soon) original mounts removed and re-positioned for m-atx case bag of screws which are identical to apple mounting screws to fit into mounts Can also provide you with original wiring, power cables, fans, etc. Asking $150 plus shipping from Michigan. No international requests please.
  3. no, not really. but to be honest, I don't have the time or patience to try to get HDMI audio. If the really smart people at tony_mac and osxproject can't get it, then there's no way that I'm going to be able to get it. I think my plan is to get a new ivy bridge mac mini when they come out. Hacking was fun when I had time, but that's a luxury I just don't have anymore.
  4. Just list what extensions you have in /extra/extensions Open and copy the contents of your org.chameleon.plist or your com.boot.plist (depends on what version of chameleon you have) into the reply window. That file should be in /extra too
  5. Any dsdt edits relating to gige or nmac? Wait, you don't have a dsdt in /Extra?
  6. Yeah that's the driver, just missed a 1 tying on the iPad. Do me a favor. If you turn off airport while in SL, can you still access the net?
  7. I'm glad that i was able to help. Now that SL is installed, it really has me wondering about lion. Have you tried yet? Or are you happy with a working SL? Oh, another question, I couldn't get my LAN to work with the RTL8xxx driver, and had to use the 2.0.6 version from realtek to get it to work. You got yours working with version 0.9.0 of RTL8xxx? Also, I couldn't get wireless to work without my LAN working. It was a strange thing where both interfaces were crossing over. I could.get an ip address with wan, but it would show up under my LAN, and the wan would have a self assigned ip. Really strange. I'm ok with only LAN since it is right next to my router though.
  8. Not yet, I can get hdmi detected and it can see my receiver, but iTunes or anything that plays audio crashes, with no sound output. The iMac,10,1 is the only 9400m that actually has audio out through the mini display port (mac mini3,1 doesnt), so I may try changing the product to imac10,1 and see where I can get from there. I'm also on project osx forums, which is where I found how to see my hdmi http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=465&st=100 Oh, and Ive got temperature monitoring of all sensors with fakesmc 4.0 and the updated plugins. You can find them at projectosx under fakesmc section Edit: can you send me your dsdt? I'd love to see and compare yours and mine. I'll be sure to do the same when I get home tonight. Mine is actually from the ionitx a-e, which is nearly a clone of the at3
  9. bash-3.2# /Users/HTPC/Downloads/VDADecoderChecker Hardware acceleration is fully supported aaaaand....boom goes the dynamite. We've got 1080p people. With hardware acceleration on an ION. The key is choosing a mac configuration under smbios.plist that actually uses the 9400m. Mac Pro = NOPE, mac mini 3,1 = BINGO! Audio is the last step! Who's got 5.1 working?
  10. So got it up and running (10.6.8), but it really sucks at 1080p mkv files (tried XBMC, Plex, VLC). I also couldn't get my reciever to appropriately play audio from optical and video from HDMI. COuldn't get 5.1 audio either. Bummer
  11. Still looking for a working DSDT for this board. I'm trying to install Lion, but get KP right after chameleon boot screen.
  12. Has anyone tried to set up hardware RAID through the BIOS on this board? I want to use it to set up a RAID 5 server, and it needs to be hardware, as OSX software is limited to 0 or 1. I'm planning on trying it soon, but thought I'd ask first.
  13. @October, Yeah, I don't know what the problem is, but it just hangs when I boot 64 bit mode, 32 bit is fine. I've tried UseNvidiaRom, VBIOS, GraphicsEnabler. No help though.
  14. For those on Lion, are you able to boot into 64 bit kernel? if so, are you using onboard video or PCI-e video? Thanks
  15. Does anyone have QE/CI on Lion? I've sucessfully got Lion up and running, but the tearing with screen sliding, lack of transparent bars, and no water effect when adding widgets to dashboard (when not it's seperate space). --Edit: Got my 9800GT to work with QE/CI using the UseNvidiaRom=Yes flag with the 9800GT rom in my /Extra folder, but only on 32 bit. System Hangs and won't boot with 64 bit...strange indeed @PolishOSX Is this the coveted dsdt that you can't release per signal64?
