  1. Any hint on which framebuffer to use? Starting with GE=Yes only shows a blank screen in login.
  2. Hi, I've recently bought an used PowerColor HD5770 Eyefinity5 Graphics Card. It gets recognized as ATI 5000 Series with GraphicsEnabler set to off and no AtiConfig set. My only problem is the DVD Player and Steam, they both keep crashing. I found some information about this card on the netkas board, but they say that this card is supported natively by Lion and Mountain Lion. But the DVD Player crashes on Snow Leopard as well as on Mountain Lion. I don't care about the DVD Player, but it sucks not being able to use Steam. Has anyone a hint for me to get this working?
  3. Hi Guys! I'm looking for a new sound card for my hackintosh. I had a Azalia-Chip onboard but somehow the output connector broke and now it's not working anymore. I used a Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic PCI, but it's not supported on Mac. Now I want a new card thats supported by Mac (out of the box/official drivers), so no hacked drivers or stuff like that. First I flirted with the ESI Maya44e (pci express) but people in ESI's message board are complaining about missing drivers for Snow Leopard running on 64 bit. ESI itself seems not to be interested in moving on their Mac driver development. This seems to be a general problem when I look at sound cards of other manufacturers (and there are only a few semi-professional PCIe cards on the market, I don't need a 600€ 19inch rack sound card). So I'm looking for a sound card (USB or PCIe) that has official 64-bit Snow Leopard drivers. Price up to 150€. Nice-to-have features: - Two independent outputs - MIDI interface - 48V phantom power on mic input - additional digital i/o But basically I need something with simply an input and output, no 5.1/7.1 surround stuff. Currently thinking about the Creative X-Fi Go! USB. It has only one input and output, but it's cheap and still seems to have good quality. Can anyone confirm that this one works on 64-bit Snow Leopard? A PCIe sound card would be nicer though, but I didn't find any suitable card in my price range. Thanks for your help!
  4. Sorry, don't know since my hardware doesn't support sleep on OS X. No, I didn't, but I will do the next days...
  5. Okay, I solved the problem and the solution was very simple. I found this page and wanted to compile the driver myself. First I removed my old AtherosL1.kext and rebooted the system, suddenly my network card received an ip from my dhcp server. I checked the kexts with System Profiler and saw, that there was an AttansicL1.kext now active and working. I just forgot to remove a non-working AtherosL1.kext, which blocked the working AttansicL1.kext. For everyone interested, I attached the AttansicL1.kext, working for me on an Asus P5KPL, Snow Leopard 10.6.4 64-bit. System Profiler says it's 32 and 64 bit compatible. AttansicL1Ethernet.kext.zip
  6. Hello, anyone got the Attansic L1 (1969:1048) running on Snow Leo 10.6.4? Installed yesterday with 10.6.3 Retail and Chameleon on my Asus P5KPL and everything is working perfectly except that damn onboard LAN. I installed this kext and actually everything appears to be fine, the controller is detected and listed everywhere it should be, but it can't get an ip over dhcp. I can manually assign an ip to me, but still don't reach any other host in my lan. Strange thing, after some time (about 10-15 mins) my server and MacBook are listed in the Finder sidebar, but anyway not reachable, when I click them. Already updated to 10.6.4, but no change... Someone got a hint for me?
  7. Ok, after reinstalling the software, I discovered my real problem again: The back button does not work, both in Safari and Firefox.
  8. Hey ya, I got a Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0 from Microsoft and I just installed the Microsoft IntelliPoint drivers for Mac on my OS X 10.5.8, but actually just the scroll wheel button is working with the desired action. Back and forward keys don't work, as far as I remember they didn't work before the driver installation, too. Anyone got more luck on this?
  9. As far as I know, the keyboard driver is included to the Bootcamp Driver Package. You could try searching for apple keyboard drivers for windows at rapidshare etc. as well.
DaniFilth

  13. I'm from germany. I'm not proud of being german, but I think, the system in germany is quite okay.
