  1. Take good close look at what it says on quocomputer.com thats all you have to do to understand why people are pissed off. I found the site after reading this thread and I bought it because it does say what it say there so there is no way in hell I could have missunderstood anything at all. I dint know anything about kickstarter then but now I do so ive been reading over there too. I expected to just put in the OS dvd or usb drive thats all cause thats what it tells me on that page. Now I realize thats not the case and all I get is another hack but with thunderbolt, if I get it at all.
  2. Nope I need more power/flexibility etc etc, but I do own a mac mini. Thanks for the tips though
  3. Pretty much what I thought too but over all imagine not having to do anuthing but drop in the dvd or usb drive install and youre good to go. I like hackintoshing but every once and while I sure could have use for the "real" thing throughout the years.
  4. So then my mobo should show any day since theyve had them a while now.
  5. To get somekind of proof of life I had to do a dispute thingy over on paypal, I did get a reply though so ........ I just don't wanna be ignored thats all. I guess people in general feel the same so ........
  6. I don't know but this is getting really weird since you hear nothing from them and the numbers of mobos in stock constantly lowers and the kickstarterguys being mad cause they get no info either and nothing seem to be shipped out to anybody and all seem to be a mess. I don't know if it is so but it looks very strange from the outside. I bought mine from their online store (thinking they actually had 200 + mobos in stock) using Paypal and I guess thereĀ“s a limit how long I can wait before I start a Dispute to get my money back. This is over a week back and so far not even a confirmation email they recived my order and the money. I even emailed them but no reply. I don't want to start up anything and I want that mobo. I really wish them good luck I think it's a really cool thing they're doing with this mobo but it's starting to be so so strange I've never experienced anything like this before. So what the do I do?
  7. I think Im gonna get mine Im not worried its just that its kind of taken from the book how to not startup your business how they run things. Pretty much everybody knows an email/sign of life really could make a big difference in a case like this.
  8. Its very strange though that you dont get a confirmation email when you buy from them. I emailed asking them to confirm my order and my payment but no reply so far.
  9. I dont even know what that whole thing with kickstarter and backers and stuff is. I read this thread about a new mobo so I go to the site and buy it. It say nothing there but that they do have it in stock and you can calculate shipping and all even for international buyers!
  10. This is strange I thought the couple of houndred mobos they claimed they actually have was actually in stock for orders. Now I wonder if they are reserved for the kickstarter. Doesnt say that on the homepage though so its confusing. Maby I made a misstake ordering one of these and pay for it? Did anybody get theirs?
  11. This mobo probably is as stable as a real mac, far from all hackmacs are though Im afraid. Id say you max get 95% functionality out of hackmac in general.
  12. No, google is your friend in situations like this. Besides that the company I bought it from replaced it just like that, got the text today saying its on its way in the mail. One do wonder why they do that without further investigations. Well that psu stays in the box I aint taking no chanses, Im gonna give it away for free but with a big warming sign on saying use this on your own risk. I will not speak more in this thread though.
  13. What do you mean a valid link? A link to somplace wher they specify technical info for this psu? You dont know neither do I that it was that problem could be anything in the bootup process. If they print 600 wats and Corsair on the box I at least before this happen would have said thats a good one safe to buy. Just change your recommendations for psu please got be lots and lots of psus out there.
