Hi there

I'm new to MAC OS X Leopard

and here I got stuck at the "Do you already own a MAC" loop

I've search the forum for solution but it seemed not help

the solution I'd found is this one:

startup the PC with the Leopard DVD,press F8,-x to enter the single user mode

and type

/sbin/fsck -fy

/sbin/mount -uw /

passwd root

touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone

reboot

but here is the problem

when I typed /sbin/mount -uw /

it responed with these:

Jnl:disk1s2:open:phys_blksz 2048 does not match journal header size 512

Jnl:disk1s2:replay_journal:from:673200 to:6875136 (joffset 0x26000)

Disk1s2:device is write locked.

0[level 3][ReadUID 0][Facility com.apple.system.fs][Errtype IO][ErrNo 13][iOType Write][PBlkNum 2][LBlkNum 2][FSLogMsgID 1841546356][FSLogMsgOrder First]

0[level 3][ReadUID 0][Facility com.apple.system.fs][DevNode devfs][MountPt /dev][Path /dev/disk1s2][FSLogMsgID 1841546356][FSLogMsgOrder Last]

Jnl:disk1s2:update_fs_block:failed to update block 2 (ret 13)

Jnl:disk1s2:jounal_open:Error replaying the jounal!

I didn't know what these meant and didn't know what to do with it

BTW,I've installed leopard in disk0s3,and only have one hard disk, but why disk1s2 appeared?

Hope someone can help me out with this 'coz it's driving me nut!!

Not sure about the error but I believe another way past the loop is to define a really low graphics mode

something like Graphics mode="800x600x32"

What should I do if I get a unexpected resend request from ps/2 controller error while doing the -v mode

It only works properly if I do a -x -v?

Thanks

Jon
