Try this one it autosenses the Headphones, Int Speakers, each with it's own volume control!(somebody very clever made it!!)
It only shows "Internal Speakers" in Sounds but as soon as you plug in your phones it switches

Out of complete and utter boredom I made a package installer for it tongue.gif

However, kext installation should be the first thing you learn about in OSx86.

Post your vendor/device id and revision number. It's only ALC268 if it's rev 3 of " 8086:284b "

The package installs the correct kext, and it installs properly.

Hi guys,

I'm coming back since the 10.4.6 times where we could barely start at a proper resolution on wide screens...

anyway.. i've got a GIGABYTE M912 NetBook with a ALC268 audio CHip...

i've tested all the kexts available here and there.. but no one is working... some kexts recognize my audio chip but no sound is emited at all... and other kexts simply disable my audio card...

Any clue on "how to get it work" ?
I'm with Leopard 10.5.4
Thanks
