Specs: XFX 750i SLi Mobo Q6600 2.4 Core 2 Quad 4GB OCZ Reaper 8500 Ram 2 SATA 350GB HDD 1 SATA DVDRW 1 XFX 260 c216 with 896MB Bios link is here. http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/fil...ormation/11433/ Only current way to boot into OSX for me atm is to install with ideneb 10.5.5 on 9.4.0 Kernel and boot with CD using cpus=1 No hot usb, video card inject fails, cannot get nforce lan to work period. Tried all nforce drivers in this forum. This is a common board, please help me! I cannot stress enough that I've attempted many different ways to overcome the boot problem. Kalyway only works on IDE dvd for me and so does ideneb 10.5.6 And still so as much to not boot without the dvd. With cpus=1 and no nvinject or working lan. I've been at this for weeks, I've tried every work around. I am stuck. WHen attempting to boot from hard disk, reguardless of what kernel I use I cannot. Stops at Framework. System must be booted from cd, manually specifying the disk drive and cpus=1 I need a bios fix x.x; |

This to request a patched bios for the eee pc 1000 (linux):
BIOS link: http://dlsvr04.asus.com/pub/ASUS/EeePC/Eee...0-ASUS-0913.zip Computer: eee pc 1000 linux - SSD version Issue: (Thanks for the patch to the earlier 0803 version of the bios.) This more recent bios adds support for the faster SATA SSD's. I've installed such an SSD (Super Talent 16GB) in my eee pc 1000 and installed OSX on it (using linux and a disk copy from a test USB disk install). The older, patched version of the bios does not recognize the SSD. This newer bios does recognize the disk, but gives quite a long boot time (5 min?). I am, for now, stuck with this very long boot time. Thanks! |

Well, I guess the title says it all, after spending a lot of time reading Documentations, Specifications, Forums.. and hunting for testers You will find some of the modified BIOSes here. Keep in mind that I take no responsibility for a bad flash or if anything goes wrong.. in this web site, the Asus F3JC link dosn't work. http://osrom.net/biosmod/ if some one have this bios, please send to a sharing web site. Thank you... |

Hello Kabyl,
I would greatly appreciate it if you could modify my bios for my Asus Rampage II Extreme. I am unable to get it to start in vanilla install or any distro I have tried. I can't get anything to boot successfully, so a BIOS flash is my best hope. This board had Dual BIOS, so the procedure is even relatively risk free! Here is a link to a sccreenshot showing failure: Here is my hardware, from my fist post in the other thread: http://www.pbase.com/mivanitsky/image/114192029/original.jpg Hardware list: Asus Rampage II Extreme ( Intel x58, ICH10R) WD Black 512GB SATA on ICH10R Intel i7 920 12GB Corsair GT memory (not overclocking presently) BFG GTX 280 videocard A link to the BIOS: http://dlsvr.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1366/...xtreme-1406.zip Thanks very much in advance, Mike |

hi Kabyl,
here is my request: i own an acer travelmate 8215wlhi that has some problems. i'm using ipc 10.5.6 at the moment, but i've tested it also with kalyway and upuck since 10.5.1 and i have same issues. i can use dual core with idlehalt=0 flag during boot but cpu temp is really high! (74° in idle mode, >84° with stressed cpu) with cpus=1 flag temp is fine but of course i can't use dual core without any flag the system hangs on boot: http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/1889/pict2512.jpg can you do something for me? the bios download is here: ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/tra...0/bios/3522.zip i know is for 8210, but the 8215 model has same bios as 8210... (my laptop uses the linked bios) the lappy specs: http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPF-Acer-TravelMate-8215WLHi cpu: itel core 2 duo T7200 2.0ghz 667 mhz FSB, 4mb l2 cache chipset Intel 945PM Express memory: 4 gigz dd2 with dual channel support vga: ati mobility radeon x1600 hdd: 500gb sata with your bios mod, can windows works fine? i need to use both sysop... thnx a lot! |

Hi, looking for a patched bios for a Biostar P43 mobo...strangely enough, it works fine when I disable the "multi-core processing" option in the BIOS....according to OSX, however, it is using only 2 of the 4 cores. This is WITH iATKOS v7 (just released), and the APIC fix. I do not need to do the cpus=1 in startup if I disable the BIOS "multi-core processing" option as mentioned above, but I would like to use all 4 cores on my Q6600. Thanks!
Biostar TP43D2-A7 v6 (Intel P43) Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 8GB Kingston HyperX DDR2-800 evga nVidia GTX280 1024MB (iATKOS v7 actually includes WORKING drivers for GTX2xx!!) Realtek ALC662 audio 2 IDE Hard drives, 1 SATA Blu-Ray burner, 1 SATA Hard disk Heres the link to the BIOS, its not a *direct* download, but as soon as you enter/click this link, it will download the correct file. http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/biosdl.php?BID=1342 If you need it as a DIRECT download, i uploaded it to fileden as well: http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/6/25/2488495/P43AA518.BST Thanks a bunch! |

Hey Kabyl,
I have a laptop with the following specs: Asus X58L Processor: T7500 Memory: 3GB HDD: 120GB SATA Graphics Card: Intel GMA X3100 Chipset: Intel GL960 Express Chipset + ICH8M iDeneb 1.4 was working fine on this notebook before it underwent a CPU upgrade. The original processor was a Celeron 575. With the C2D it doesn't boot anymore, gives the error described above so a BIOS patch should fix this. If you have time, please look into patching this BIOS. Your help is appreciated. Thank you and keep up the good work, SZGY Download |
