OK, i'm at the same step as before, only now the kernel is recognizing the interface. For some reason it is trying to assign it the same address (i.e. en1) as the wired adapter. How can I change it, i know that it is finding it because in my current logs it gives me the
CODE Jun 8 20:55:06 Jesses-Hackintosh kernel[0]: check_firstup deal, so it is detected. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change the address in 10.5.2. The wired adapter is en0, i need to set iwi4965 to en1 somehow. What do I need to do?Jun 8 20:55:06 Jesses-Hackintosh kernel[0]: goto system preferences -> networks and press apply if you keep seeing this [rant] And btw cheeseboy, shut your mouth. If you want the driver to progress faster maybe consider HMMM I DONT KNOW, HELPING!! Seriously at least post a log, a KP pic, anything to help J out, he's been workin on this for almost 2 years and has gotten nothing from it. I mean honestly I understand wanting it to be done, I want it finished to, but I try to help. [/end rant] |

Tested build 1170 haven't noticed any changes over the last builds. Some interesting errors at the beginning of the log.

still can't tell if networkselector is correctly detecting my card. Scanning is giving some output though.

Hi.
iwi3945 rel 1171:
iwi3945_rel_1171.txt.zip ( 79.89K )
Number of downloads: 23I make my wireless network unprotected, but "spaceport" didn't show me any network. I tried to type network number 1 and connect, but nothing. UPD: I was trying to play with wi-fi hardware switcher and descovered that driver printed founded networks in the System.log. I thought that founded networks must typing directly in spaceport.
