Colour LCD vs Adobe RGB Options

In Sys Prefs goto Display / Colour... choose Colour LCD then Adobe RGB, What give the best colour in your opinion, what looks more true to life... i.e same as photo you took.

What do you use.?

I used to use Color LCD, but it was a bit "hot" so I calibrated it myself.
I have a matte 9C67 screen (LG).

What I did was went out and bought a Spyder 2 Express (the cheap version), and use it with ColorEyes Display Pro (one of the best calibration programs available). Works perfectly, and I am safe in the knowledge that my colour is as accurate as possible. I also recalibrate monthly.

That said, my current profile isnt far off the Color LCD profile.. maybe a little darker and more constrasty. Definitely an improvement tho (I can see fine detail where before it was just blocks of colour).

NB The trick about the Spyder 2 is that despite the three versions being different prices (Express, Standard and Pro), the hardware dongle is THE SAME in each package, so you can just buy the cheapo hardware and use the Pro-level SW. I dont use the Spyder software tho, cos I prefer ColorEyes Display Pro.

PS I've uploaded my current profile. Note that i'm not recommending you use it, as every screen is different, but you could give it a shot and see how it looks on your display. Its from a 1st gen 1.83Ghz Core Duo MacBook Pro (matte screen).

EDIT: I just noticed from the OPs sig that he has a glossy screen MBP. Handily enough, I am going to be profiling a glossy C2D Santa Rosa MBP tomorrow, so i'll upload the ICC from that.
