Fios from Verizon..., Anyone got it? Is it really that fast?

Very nice I'm gonna be switching over soon right now i have Optimum and its OK heres the speedtest:

I saw the guys set it up a while back and it looks awesome. Even though both services (Optimum and Fios) are fiber optic for some reason Fios is faster lol. I wonder how Optimum Boost would compete?

I guess I will be waiting a while.
There is no cable in my area, let alone fibre. BT is upgrading our exchange to the 2CN network in 2009 - that should give us fibre (cable at the very least)

Till then, 8 mbit ADSL will have to do
