I don't think this is remotely possible, but I have a Genius ColorPage-Vivid 4X.
Are there any drivers anywhere for OS X? Genius' web site doesn't have any |

Yes, your scanner is fully supported. You need to install the SANE twain drivers for OSX.

You've GOT to be kidding me! I can't believe there actually is a driver for this! Thank you so much!! I thought there may be something like macam for scanners but didn't find anything, this must be it

Sorry for hijacking, but i have an benq/acer scanner and i also installed Sane. The problem i have, there must i put the firmware? The normal Linuxfolder is not there.

Yes, you have to save your scanner's firmware in a specific directory (I don't remember which, it's in sane's documentation).
Where to get the firmware from? Well, I installed the scanner in Windows and the driver placed the firmware file in the Windows directory. Just install the driver and search the firmware file |
