Hi,

Sorry if this is a very basic question:

Where do OSX saves the information of past networked computers?
I'm getting this dialog: "The alias "xxx" could not be opened, because the original item can not be found".
How can I reset it?

Same for windows: How can I reset the aliases that XP displays on the network window? I have lots of icons of past connections that are no longer valid - changed names or disk letters- The problenm is that opening the network window take a lot of time, because I think XP tries to find that past connections and can not find them, delaying the opening of the window.

tks for any help on this.
