From Macshrine (http://www.macshrine.com/):
Apple yesterday seeded a new version of Leopard (build 9A326) to internal Apple employees. This latest build is reported to have fixed bugs from the last build (9A303) such as Quicktime crashing, printing problems and issues with .Mac such as iDisk synching. Apple continues to gloss over the interface, refining it even more and there is an overly presence of black gloss. This build is also completely stable on Apple’s latest Core 2 Duo MacBook and MacBook Pro. Apple is trying to gear down development to get this build out to developers before the New Year. New “internal” features nclude improved Core technology, faster boot-up times and support for external flash memory as temporary system memory (similar to Microsoft Vistas tech). Boot Camp 1.2 is included in the build but no readme was accompanied and we cannot identify any new features, it appears the same as the current 1.1.2 beta to us. Spotlight has got new meta search abilities including the ability to search other Macs on a network. Safari 3 has improved RSS support, with ability to view videocasts and listen to podcasts in browser. iSync is not present in the build it has been replaced with a new Sync Manager. TextEdit also features support to export and open new Word 2007 documents. |

wow, leopard sounds like it is really coming together well. reading this has sort of rekindled some of the excitement for leopard's release. TextEdit's ability to open/export the new word format is cool, funny how they'll have support for the new format on osx before MS can get it out. i wonder if apple's version of superfetch will actually work, cause i can so no improvement on vista.

No... Not the 10th...
It is ALWAYS the Second Tuesday of the Month that new OS Seeds are released on ADC. Lets check, shall we? 9A283: 12 Oct 2006 9A303: 09 Nov 2006 I could dig back into 10.4, 10.3, 10.2, 10.1 and 10.0 for you, but I have much better things to do with my time. |

if that's the case, the next major seed will correspond to MacWorld SF, which should be a near-complete beta. Can't wait!

Relax guys...
Remember, Apple is PST (for the most part, anyways). Wait until the majority of Americans actually start work in that timezone before you start complaining that it hasn't leaked yet. If Apple follows there non-official non-documented timeline that they have used since 10.1, then Devs will get an updated build in their hands today. |

Exactly...
It could never leak as much of the Apple stuff has in the past, or it could be up on a torrent site before it is even avaliable to ADC members as was the case with the WWDC build. Big thing is to sit back and enjoy the ride. This post has been edited by Adrian Fogge: Dec 12 2006, 05:56 PM |

Also to point out,
On the pink palace, the user that posts the builds is listed as being in France. He has not been on the site for 11 hours, as of this post. He seeded 9a283 at 2006-10-26 4:43 AM EST (That is 14 days after the release) and he seeded 9a303 @ 2006-11-10 6:03 PM EST (This is a day and a half after it was released) |
