you don't say if 10.4.8 with .4 or .8 kernel, and neither if a JaS or Myzar base install. Anyway, I would get the "real" (full) version and install the latest 12.01 update

I have a real PC and I can run Illustrator just fine.

Your point is? Those kind of comments are pathetic. This is place where people meet to discuss Hackintosh issues and techniques, what do you think you'll accomplish with this kind of preaching?

Your problem is?

This forum may have begun as an illegal Mac OS X sweatshop, but it has grown to be far more than that. This thread was not posted in the "hackintosh" forum for support, therefore it should go without saying that making a statement that the "official" illustrator demo isn't running right is misleading, when it's obvious that his hacked and unsupported OS is the problem here. This is the "Web and Graphical Design" forum and he's not having a problem with "the official" Illustrator at all. He's got an OS problem.

So yeah, it works just fine here.

I don't have problem, I just think those kind of comments are pathetic. Carlosramos has problem which can probably be solved by other means than buying new computer, and if you think this is wrong sub-forum you could've tell him to ask Hackintosh questions in appropriate forum.

And btw. he just said that he downloaded Illustrator demo from "official" site, Adobe in this case, and even if he runs Illustrator on hacked system, it's still "official" Illustrator, not hacked. There's absolutely nothing misleading about his post, he just choose wrong sub-forum for such question, that's all. He didn't claim that it is Illustrator problem, just stated that for some reason app doesn't work on his system, and wondered if someone could share some light on the subject.

I would understand your comment if he said something like "what's wrong with this app, those Adobe programmes are idiots, they can't make functional app", but that's not the case here.

Anyway, EOD here, since this is OT, and I don't intend to hijack this thread.
