I read, in the news thread about newest LION builds (C26,C35) some getting KPs which belong to ApplePolicyControl.kext (an Plugin in AppleGraphicsControl.kext). Only for interest i looked into that, in SL non existent next. If looks like it is loaded only if the user has an Mac-94245B3640C91C81 as MacProdukt - also if he uses that and/or MacBookPro8,1 9,1... in chameleon. To avoid loading it it may help to change the Mac-94245B3640C91C81.plist there in some fake name and try again booting it without KPs.
