ant.one
hi! i have a problem: i want to activate my onboard ethernet on a gigabyte ga-g41mt-es2l, i installed the lynx2mac driver and rebooted. this worked perfectly. when i activated my onboard lan, the computer did not boot. if i start in verbose mode, i get the error messages you can see in the image. i attached you a photo i took, so you can see it. obviously the activated ethernet connection interferes somehow with the usb controller?!? maybe someone can help me my installation is SL 10.6.6 on mentioned gigabyte board made following the tonymacx86 #####+##### method. everything works like a charm but the ethernet. maybe you can help me? ant.one
no i don't use a dsdt. i think this is triggered by the activation of the onboard ethernet. imo the driver should somehow prevent this in order to make the ethernet work. e.g. i use a radeon 4870 which only works when i install some thinks via #####. this maybe is kinda comparable...
